Just noticed that the tournament software has crashed meaning I'll have to recreate the last 2 draws. I'll update those pages over the next few days :-(

Final round has started. We have 2 on 4.5/5 (Ben He and Kiron Roy) and 3 chasing on 4/5. Could not be closer. Ben and Kiron have already drawn with each other so if both win, we are looking at a play-off to determine the title.

Lunch has just been finished, a choice of Sausage with mash and onion gravy, baked potatoes or Roast Beef and Salad, all followed by one of the nicest Ice Cream Sundae's I have had in a long time:-). On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 1 being the worst), the food here probably rates an 11 :-)

This morning we continued the activities, starting with a treasure hunt on the beach and after that we went caving and all pretended to be Robin Hood with the bows and arrows. This was my first time at archery and I loved it. This was probably because I luckily hit the bull :-)

Unfortunately the battery has gone in my camera and I am unable to take any more pics :-( Hopefully the charger will arrive this week so I can upload the rest of what I have.

Round 5 began on time and on the live board we have Peter and Ben. The winner will most likely come from these 2

We are not supposed to be getting up until 7:30, I have been lying awake for the past hour and I suspect Donald is the same. The only sound you can hear from the other rooms is the blissful sound of snoring...

Busy day today. We have Breakfast at 8:30 then we pack our rooms and spend the rest of the morning in activities. Lunch, then the final 2 rounds of Chess. Finally we finish the day off with prize giving and then it is time to go home.

Last night we asked the kids who had been at this event already if they like this venue or the previous one. We had a unanimous yes. We then extended this out to the rest and again everyone voted for coming here next year, so it looks like it is a hit. It is now 07:23 and I can see Donald coming back from his walk. Rooms are stating to stir and it is time to get everyone up (for once I am not allowed to use the fire bell)

Hot Chocolate and biscuits are the order of the day.

The only person on 4/4 is......

6th June, 19:30

Final round for the day. On the live board we had Robert Childs and Wembo Chen. Rather a quick round as many were tired. Looking forward to that Hot Chocolate and bed!

6th June, 19:30

After all that excitement, we went to the adventure playground. Time to let off some steam methinks. I have a feeling both Donald and Phil enjoyed themselves

6th June, 18:00

It's back to chess again. This time it is Round 3. On the live board was Peter Sanders and Kai Pannwitz. Another good game for us all to watch

There were 8 players still on 2 Points, the 2 above, Ben He, Camas Miller, Matthew McCabe, Kiron Roy, Max Allison and Anthony MacFarlane
